|12. Shuttle Train Trial|

First successful trial - just 65 hours between Germany and Romania.
Transpetrol have reported a successful privately run shuttle train trial to Romania. This was a collaborative exercise with HGK in Germany, WLC in Austria, CER in Hungary and Servtrans in Romania. The shuttle departed Germany (Ludwigshafen) in the evening and travelled via Austria and Hungary to Romania. The first trial was very successful taking just 65 hours.
A trial using the state railway company was not acceptable as its transit time was approximately seven days.
